Stephen was an accomplished senior executive who became an executive coach and leadership trainer.  He is a strategic thinker and is passionate to help directors, general managers, vice presidents, managing directors, C-level executives and presidents excel in their roles.

Having worked for global brands (P&G, BASF, Honeywell, Emerson, Ecolab & Danaher) for over 32 years, 20 of which in senior executive positions such as GM, Sr. VP and President, Stephen accumulated a wealth of experience in leadership and business management. He started his professional career as an engineer and moved up the rank to take up senior executive roles at Emerson, Ecolab and Danaher with full Profit & Loss responsibilities that include product development, marketing, sales, supply chain, manufacturing and after-sales service. He has a proven track record of leading culturally diverse management teams, building high performance teams, mentoring & developing talents, growing sales & market shares, improving profitability & cash flow, integrating acquisitions to enhance market share and leverage operational strength.

As an executive coach, Stephen leverages his broad multi-cultural and extensive corporate experience to help leaders think better so as to make better choices in order to achieve optimal outcomes and attain their goals faster. As a result of their coaching engagement with Stephen, executives developed higher EQ, managed stress more effectively, raised leadership team performance to a higher level and became more versatile leaders that contributed to improved business results. 

Stephen’s coaching philosophy is that sustainable improvements and behavioral changes start with the renewal of the mind. It is his strong belief that coaching at the being level is a precondition for successful changes, i.e. from being to becoming. He coaches with his mind, from his heart and by his being which help the clients be more aware of who they are inside and develop new ways of seeing situations. This also inspires them to come up with their action plans and stay committed in implementing them.

Born in Shanghai, grew up in Hong Kong, migrated to the States as a teenager and with a professional career in many parts of the United States, China, Hong Kong and Singapore, Stephen is truly a global citizen. He speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and English.
