Coaches as Instruments for Awareness

A webinar with Teoh Swee Lin on Wednesday, 9 November 2022, 7PM – 8:30PM SG/HK time.

Gestalt is a school of thought that suggests looking at the whole when trying to make sense of the world around us, that the whole is bigger than the sum of parts and everything is inter-related. When applied in facilitating organization change and coaching individuals, Gestalt approaches and models offer the opportunity to work in the space between the obvious and the unseen or unspoken to bring about lasting transformations. Swee Lin will share her experiences from having learnt and applied Gestalt philosophies in her coaching practice.

3 Key Takeaways:

  1. How do we use our self as an instrument when coaching or facilitating?
  2. How do we help our clients strengthen their awareness of what’s really going on for them?
  3. How do we generate true dialogue and good contact in the here and now?

About the speaker:

Teoh Swee Lin is an executive and career coach who advocates leading from who we are being: that the world around us is a reflection of who we are inside and that change in the world starts with change within us. Her coaching and facilitation technique is influenced by her own experimentation and personal transformation through various modalities of work in both the corporate and community space, amongst which is Gestalt-in-Organisations from the space between, which she has worked with since 2009.
