About Us
Who We Are
Established in 2007, Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC) aims to be the Coaching Voice of Asia Pacific and bring the power and value of coaching to every workplace and home. With coaches representing more than 20 countries, we bring diverse backgrounds and multicultural uniqueness as we collaborate to reach new heights in coaching professionalism.
Where We Began
Our founder, late Mr. Foo See Luan, first established the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Singapore Chapter, and saw the need to unify the coaching fraternity in the Asia Pacific region. Hence, he created APAC as the regional forum for coaches to reach new coaching professionalism and collaborate with one another. This move allows for collective learning and wisdom that cater to the time zones and cultural diversities and richness found in this part of the world.
What We Do
Nearly two decades now, APAC’s ongoing Research continues to explore and deep dive into the cultural, geopolitical and economic nuances of this region as applicable to coaching. We have conducted the Asia Coaching Benchmark and Future of Coaching surveys to keep pace with coaching trends.
APAC has shared the gift of coaching with social service agencies, communities, and schools through pro bono coaching. This allows coaching to be shared with all parts of the region, remembering the often-forgotten ones.
Our monthly webinars and peer coaching practices led by seasoned and master coaches, and our quarterly newsletters, “APAC Voice”, equip us to keep pace with the evolution and standards of coaching.
