Harnessing Emergence in Team Coaching
Harnessing Emergence in Team Coaching
with Dr. Sebastian Fox
Monday, 19 January 2026 at 4PM – 5PM SG time
Join us for an interactive webinar with Dr. Sebastian Fox focused on emergent team coaching. Discover how working emergently differs from working with a set model, approach or predetermined variables when coaching teams. Discussing briefly the role of systems thinking and goal setting in emergent coaching, we’ll explore the conditions that can lead to emergence and the role of the coach. We’ll also cover how emergence unfolds, before setting out why working emergently is more helpful for teams than leading them through a model or certain approach.
About the speaker:
Dr. Sebastian Fox, ACTC, is a practising team coach and researcher. His thesis, “How Teams Find Their Coaching to Be Productive,” demonstrates how emergent team coaching generates the greatest impact for teams. It provides the first rigorous academic evidence for what experienced coaches have long known intuitively but not always been able to clearly explain to clients. Seb has worked with teams in Asia, Europe and the UK. He is Lead for the EMCC UK Team Coaching Special Interest Group and Head of Research at Team Coaching Studio. With 40 years of business experience across corporates and running his own business, he brings both credibility and real-world understanding to team coaching, bridging the gap between academic rigour and practical application.
