Osamu Sato began studying coaching at Coach A* in 2011 while working as an IT Manager at Patagonia Japan. (*Coach A : Japanese affiliate of Coach University in USA) Alongside his corporate role, he has actively practiced coaching with managers and leaders to support organizational performance and talent development. Since 2017, he has served as a class coach at Coach A, facilitating coaching skill programs attended by professionals from a wide range of companies. Through this role, he continues to deepen his own learning and exploration of coaching through both practice and ongoing development. To strengthen his ability to coach in English and align with global coaching standards, Osamu completed Coach U’s** Core Essentials and Professional Essentials programs. (**CoachU: Coach University in USA) He remains committed to continuous improvement as a bilingual coach, combining Japanese coaching experience with an international perspective. Professionally, Osamu contributed for 23 years as the head of IT at Patagonia Japan, supporting business growth through organizational and system development. His experience includes leading major cross-functional and international projects such as ERP implementation and expansion, POS system deployment, and the launch of e-commerce operations, collaborating closely with both Japan and U.S. headquarters teams. Osamu earned his ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential in 2024. He has accumulated over 500 hours of one-on-one coaching experience and more than 250 hours facilitating coaching-learning programs. His coaching clients include corporate employees, senior entrepreneurs starting new ventures, and global leaders working overseas. His top CliftonStrengths are Learner, Deliberative, Strategic, Responsibility, and Achiever. Osamu’s coaching vision is to walk alongside individuals as they grow at their own pace, leveraging their values and strengths to create fulfilling careers and lives. He hopes to make coaching more accessible as a practical tool for personal and professional development, while continuing to learn and grow together with those he supports.
