Executive Coach and HR Consultant Areas of Expertise William has been actively engaged with client assignments on behavior change, change management, conflict management, negotiating skills as well as cross-cultural integration for expatriates coming into the Asia Pacific. He does this both as a Corporate Performance Coach and as a Learning Consultant. In particular, he helps his high potential corporate clients who hold critical positions in their respective industries to achieve paradigm shifts in their work achievements. With his HR and business background, he helps his clients hone their role and goal CLARITY and effectiveness in their work as well as grow them to be better leaders of teams, large and small. He blends both flow and structure into his coaching and in the process brings coachees to arrive at insightful PERSPECTIVES. This often leads to results which further inspire coachees to greater learning and BREAKTHROUGH. William’s assignments brings him regularly into contact with clients in ASEAN, Taiwan and China. He is conversant in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay. Professional Experience Throughout his private sector track record both in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region, William held consultative, managerial and management positions with various local and multi-national companies in Sales, Human Resource, Marketing and Operations. In the process, he negotiated petroleum supply arrangements, wage and Collective Agreement negotiations, arranged shipment of oil within the AP region, established distribution channels for products and even collected cheques. In his concurrent HR consultant role, he is involved in both solutioning (people development) and program delivery for supervisory skills, conflict management, influencing and negotiating skills. He is adept at working across cultures and has brought his participants through managing such issues in their respective organizations. William’s passion in Coaching saw him serving as Honorary Treasurer for APAC (2015-2017) as well as 2nd Vice-President of the International Coach Federation (Singapore Chapter) for 2 terms (2006-2008). A major achievement was the greater involvement of coaches in the local scene. As the Peer Coaching Coordinator, he provided the avenue for professional coaches to hone their skills with each other on a group basis.
