JEFF HASENFRATZ, Managing Director of Mindsight Executive Development Services, is a Shanghai-based executive coach, coaching supervisor, facilitator, and Mandarin speaker who has made his home in Asia for over three decades. His interest in helping organizational clients identify and develop the potential of senior leaders has led him to focus his career in the area of executive development and collaboration. Jeff’s 15 years of experience in the technology and human capital consulting industries includes functional specialization in business development and in talent assessment, development, and transition. Previous corporate associations include Hewlett Packard, Russell Reynolds Associates, and Cincinnati Bell, including assignments in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Mindsight, which offers executive team coaching and facilitation for leadership alignment, development, and critical dialogue, was formed in Hong Kong in 2001 and in Shanghai in 2008. Client organizations include professional services firms, plus Fortune 200 firms in the technology, manufacturing, construction materials, consumer goods, and financial services industries. Executive clients are typically CEOs, Managing Directors, Managing Partners, and their Teams. Clients benefit not only from Jeff’s ability to help C-Suite executives gain and leverage greater self awareness, leading to performance improvement. They also enjoy his practical and humorous personal style. Jeff, a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, Team Coach through CRR Global, and Coaching Supervisor through the Coaching Supervision Academy, also holds the degree of Juris Doctor (Law) and is a certified mediator. He is also certified to interpret the results of the Leadership Circle Profile, Hogan, Harrison, and SDI Assessment instruments. Jeff is also co-editor and chapter author of the book "Leadership Coaching in China". Jeff founded the Shanghai Coaches Learning Group in 2008 and is a founding member of what is now called the Hong Kong Intl. Coaching Community. He is also a member of the ICF and the Shanghai Coaching Circle. In his spare time Jeff enjoys practicing Chen-style taichi, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
