Past Work Experience
With over 30 years of people, business, executive and leadership development experience and formal training in coaching, Peggy Chiu is a leading expert in this field in Australasia. In 2003 she became the first person in Australia to be awarded status of Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation by completing and exceeding credentialing requirements. Peggy is Proprietor and Managing Director of a highly successful Professional, Executive, Business and Corporate Coaching Practice nationally.
Her background and experiences span fields including: professional practice, public sector senior management/leadership; creators / owners of various successful businesses in international trading, wholesale, manufacturing, health and medical services and people development.
Peggy herself is an Executive and Senior Leader in various fields. She is an Executive in her own companies and businesses apart from different previous organisations/corporations.
Peggy has previously been Chair of the International Coach Federation Global Regulatory Committee and was the Leader in Ethics and Standards of the International Coach Federation Australasia for a number of years. Peggy’s executive, leadership experience in corporations includes:
Senior Leaders management roles up to Assistant Director in Commonwealth Department of Social Security (nine years)
Executive, Managing Directorship in various international trading organisations spanning Hong Kong and Australia and Executive of multi-disciplinary health organisation in Australia (19 years — current)
Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO) in working with senior executives and business owners/leaders (four years)

Peggy has integrated this strong background in various roles in a range of industries and professions and applied this experience in leadership, in corporations, business proprietary and entrepreneurial roles to working with people at executive and senior leadership levels both in Hong Kong and Australia. She speaks and writes excellent English and Chinese (speaks Cantonese).
Peggy specialises in coaching Executives and Senior Executives of various businesses with astounding, profound results. She also trains leaders and executives to learn a coaching approach and model to lead, to influence and to enhance personal and professional growth profoundly. Each year since 2002 she runs numerous small groups offering such sophisticated and effective approaches to both her existing ongoing executive clients and their corporations’ senior leaders as well as external leaders in various industries. Executives reported tremendous successes and positive impact through working with Peggy.
She was selected as a Finalist of Telstra Business Women’s Award in 2002. Peggy’s solid foundations anchor on formal qualifications including: Master of Social Work (by research), Post-Graduate Degree in Social Work and Social Administration, BSW; BA (Hons) in Social Geography, Professional Certificate in Arbitration&Mediation.
